Daily Dinner thread?

Lunch was homemade brats! I ground up 2 Boston Butts last night and made 80-something bratwursts. Figured I'd cook some up today.

That looks great. I'm way overdue for making a big batch. I use a seasoning mix from Sauage Maker. I don't follow their recipe. I use a coarser grind and more seasoning. It's better than any store bought.

The kit I got had Legg's seasoning, it's as good as any store-bought. The casings and tenderness is where the real difference is in this batch. 1st time making them for me so I didn't want to deviate too much.

Next time I'll try a few tweaks like you did!
