Cabbage steaks are a new go to for me. Quarter a cabbage horizontally. Cover them in olive oil and liberally apply Montana steak seasoning. 425 in the oven until outer ring gets brown and crispy.

I've been wanting to make these for a very long time. Used to get them at "Reggie's" in the old Omni everytime we went there.

It looks very good.
Honestly even better than I thought they'd be.
I used breakfast sausage for the casing but think next time (and there will definitely be a next time) I'm going to try Italian sausage to give it a little more zing.
