Cabbage and Bean Stew

Made this with a lb of Bob Evans breakfast sausage, I added a chopped bell pepper and left out the hot sauce, black pepper and parsley. I added 2 cups of homemade chicken stock and a light sprinkle of Knorr Beef Broth.

Grilled toast made from homemade cheesebread. Crispy, chewy and perfect for sopping up the liquid. Man!!

Looks good
It's pretty easy and is one of my "go-to" meals. Marinate the pork chops overnight in the green Dale's. Break down the potatoes liberally apply seasoning salt and olive oil. Bake @ 450 for a little over an hour. Snap and boil the green beans. Actual prep time, less than 10 minutes. Active cooking time, maybe 15.

Leftover smoked pork nachos.

I call this the "Aldi Special".
Beef Schnitzel, Mushrooms spaetzle with butter and cheese, Knockwurst with Bavarian sauerkraut and jalapeño cheese bites which are decidedly not German but they're dang good and I had an empty spot on my plate.
It's not the Hofbrauhaus but it will do for now.
