Daily Dinner thread?

I guess it's like getting lobster in Maine, ain't no comparison
OK, hot take, but....lobster in Maine tastes exactly like it does anywhere else. It is only cheaper in Maine than it is anywhere else. Full lobster dinner with all the fixings was only $14.95 most places where I was.

And when I started to think about it, it kind of made sense. They are transported alive. So there's really very little functional difference between one that has been harvested off the coast of Maine and one that has been in shipping for a day or two. They are both alive and well in salt water.

I have to disagree on that one. I've had lobster in Maine then turned around and had it here. Nope, not even close. I don't know how long ago your Lobster meal was for $15. Mine was $25 in @ 2008 or so.

You know what....I lied. It was $18.95. Trenton, Maine. 2021.

Your palette may be different, but I couldn't taste a difference. As I said, hot take.
