Daily Dinner thread?

Reuben sandwich. I bought some sliced pastrami from Costco. The Rye bread is from Aldi. It was delicious but the bread was a bit crumbly. I’ll definitely be getting more of the pastrami. It was very tasty.

I gotta pick up a corned beef brisket flat to smoke now. Tried brining my own one time and messed it up ,but I smoke a Mean pastrami out of corned beef. One of our favorites around here. Looks GOOD.

I do the same. I soak the corned beef overnight in water to help remove some salt. Dry it off and a healthy coating of course ground black pepper. 7 hours on the smoker at 225. It makes some great sandwiches.

Tried out some boneless chicken thighs in the air fryer. I also did some in the cast iron.

The cast iron was great. No complaints. But the air fryer chicken was significantly better. Guess I'll just have to be patient and cook all of them that way since they won't all fit at one time.

I haven't heard anything bad about the air fryer
