Yeah, she got us. Insurance adjusters should be coming this morning. Any advice when handling this type of situation is welcome, I've never had to. Really just wanting to make sure I get a fair deal in it all.

Know your coverage - meet and treat your adjuster with a positive attitude but don't be afraid to exert yourself if appropriate - know your coverage - get repair estimates from people and companies you trust and can validate - don't settle completely until everything is replaced/repaired/compensated - and lastly, be patient.

I was going to say "rub some dirt {or sawdust:(} on it" :)

TOTALLY stinks, man! got two cars? Truck & Jeep?
Most of us dodged the Irma bullet...:thumb:

My experience with adjusters is that they are more than fair. We had storm damage to our house and they wrote us a check and said that if it didn't cover all of it to send in the bills and they would cover the rest. We have state farm

Also regarding vehicles, don't forget to ask them about their depreciation policy. Might get extra from that. I know when I've hit deer or been hit by other drivers,I got a separate depreciation check
