They just voted the financial bill. IF, and that's a BIG IF, they take it on it would be after then new congress is sworn in.

Feinstein has said numerous times that she will submit her bill to the floor once the new Congressional Session starts. Also, another Senator is going to submit a high capacity magazine ban bill for approval on Jan 3rd.

Does anyone know what's the earliest the ban would take effect if its submit on the 3rd?
With this congress..... could be friday if Chief really wants to flex or next year if the Bureaucratic process as usual is implemented, we really won't know honestly.
There would be numerous votes, tweaks and court cases before anything could be agreed upon. There's no simple answer to a question like that. Could be months, could be years.. Could be never.
