In disbelief, im sad to say, my Deadair Wolfman blew up on me yesterday. Was like so many other days. Shot this combo so many times. Had my Wolfman mounted on a m11/nine with a Lage SK upper. Never had any issues running full auto under 1100rpms suppressed. We shot about 5 or 6 30 rnd mags through it and after decided to put in the speed cube. It bumps up the fire to around 1800rpms by short stroking the bolt. I've fired thousands of rounds with the cube with no issues unsurpressed but this was the first time suppressed. Handed my buddy the gun thinking he would giggle his ass off but as soon as a couple rounds lit off the can shot off the mount and he jerked back as i was looking confused of what just happened. The can sheered into two pieces around the welds while firing. The keymicro mount 3 inner tabs bent outwards and sheered off the key brake entirely somehow and flew at least 20 yards. The only logical thing i can come up with is that the pressure build up at 17-1900rpms with the key micro brake inside the can caused a over pressure scenerio leading it to rupture and sheer apart while still firing. There are 2 additional holes on the center body that got struck while flying mid air. Was using some speer 147 tmj with no issues before and after. The mount was ratcheted on 100%. I saw the lugs index, and gave it a extra check after dropping in the speed cube. My buddy suffered a couple surface shrapnel wounds to the stomach and side. Thank god that was it. Hopefully it can be salvaged as the seriel number is on the lower half and broke at the first weld but most of all im happy we all walked away with no major injuries.
