I remember going to Senoia when I was a little kid. My uncle Wheeler had an old 2 door Ford coupe with a flathead 6 in it. They gutted it, built a roll cage in it and had a blast .My stepdad used to love the old dirt tracks (must have been his moonshinin’ roots).
We’d go to a couple of races a month back in the late ‘50’s, early 60’s. Get down in the infield and talk with the mechanics and drivers.
Back when it was fun.
I think that old car is still down in the woods behind the house.
