Old thread but I'll say it again, best thing for fire ants out there! They made the yard look like a minefield at first, digging up fire ant beds. Now a couple years later....no dillers or fire ants. yard has smoothed back out.

I always use a 22 with CCI velocitors. Good fun shoot till the stop. I have only shot one with a shotgun. Its was late at night and I was going to clean it up in the morning. Well morning turned to three days later in August. I got out of my truck and was hit by an odor of death. 12 ga made a mess and sucked to clean up. I shoveled pieces for days.
