DMV Security gets body slammed by thug. No one interveins.

Why should a ''citizen'' jump in ? Shouldn't security be able to handle their own problems , if not what kind of security can YOU expect from the security guard . Besides ,it was only one guy .

theoretically, yes. however, any officer caught off guard can easily become overwhelmed by a surprise attack. I expect no security from anyone nor would I ever rely on them to protect me.

I agree though, I wouldn't have jumped either unless the situation was about to take a turn for the worse. i.e. getting stomped into the ground, jumped, etc. The way I see it is the security guard should've learned a few lessons from this. After all, the next time he winds up in this situation he may be dealing with someone far more dangerous.

Lol it was pretty weak, looked more like him falling backwards.

definitely not the "slam" I was anticipating.

Being a decent human being would make a lot of people jump in and aide the security guard. He did not provoke the situation and there was no reason for the black guy to act the way he did.

And how many time do you here about a LEO that's gets help from a citizen---should we all turn our back when someone need help?????????

You not read the story about the man who stopped the serial killer while being stabbed and 2 NYPD cops just stood there and watched? Then the police chief has the balls to say its not his officers duty to protect the public?

Ok I watched the video and think its awesome that folks can take sides or jump to conclusions watching the video. Do we know why the guy was being asked to leave? Maybe Im the only one who isnt perfect here. I can understand him getting ticked off. Chances are he was being treated disrespectful so maybe he was just returning it. Have you been in a government office lately and tried to get help? Should he have struck the security guard? I would say no then again I wasnt there. Guess its easy to armchair quarterback these videos
