Does anyone here not carry a gun everyday? Has anyone carried and quit?

understand… and have thought of the same, but, can’t ( won’t) break the ritual because, well, it’s my security blanket.
I don't carry.
I always try to carry. Today is a good example of why. This morning I was loading up the truck to take the kids fishing. Grabbed a single shot .22 for snakes. But stopped before leaving to retrieve my carry out of habit.
Drove to pond and pulled off the main road drove a 100 yds to the gate and there's a car parked out of sight. Took a picture of the tag opened the gate and went in. No one fishing illegally. Probably sleeping one off or kicked out the house. No cell service and not looking for trouble. I let the kids fish and walked back up to find the car gone.
Where I'm going with this is mundane situations like this happen every day until they are not. I'm glad I had more than a single shot .22.

But I do keep an AK in my truck.
Let me clarify a little more. I go thru security everyday, and at any given time they can search you and your car. If you are caught with a gun, ammo or any alcohol on you or in your vehicle, your done. Southern Company rules. That being said I will not chance my job. There have been times they will bring dogs out and walk around your vehicle. Don't take me wrong but if you had a job like mine and been there 42 years you would be a complete idiot to do that.
I carry everyday , every where i go.
