My savage 308 has a very soft recoil pad, and when the rifle is on a bipod, the bottom of the recoil pad is resting against the ground. I'm concerned that over time it'll begin to tear at the bend, or at the least, get ground down from constant friction between me raising it to shoot and setting it down during reloads.
Ideally I'd like a short micro rear bipod that mounts to a standard sling mount to raise the height 1". Does anyone know if anything like this exists?
