downside to .357 in 9mm

And yet, I can shoot 10BHN lead cast bullets all day without any leading--as long as they are 0.357" in ALL my 9x19s. If you can't, it may be a reloading issue and NOT a tight chamber.
I’m just saying from my experience. The Brazos bullets lead every 9mm pistol I own. All of which have been shooting .356 bullets for years.

If you have a bunch of bullets that lead the barrel, then do a very light tumble lube in LLA of 45/45/10. This works for me with commercial cast bullets that lead.

If you are shooting coated bullets, be sure to pull a bullet from a round and inspect the coating for any damage.
It could be not enough case mouth flare, insufficient expansion of the case ID, or poorly cured coating or whatever.
For commercial cast bullets, leading is almost always due to poor bore fit or inadequate lube.
