Eform wait time?

Even 3-4 months isn't that bad but I wish it was back down to 30 days. That was a short lived thing

come on. That's pitiful!

It should be handled as a "shall issue". They accepted your check and deposited it. Name another product ou can purchase but have to wait 4 months to find out if you can use it, and if they reject you, you have to wait another 3 months to get your money back? you'd be calling BBB and/or threatening to sue after 7 months of being out the investment.

What would be acceptable (IMO) is that you submit your form, they accept your payment, and you're good to go with the purchase (form 4)or the manufacture (form1) and it's their responsibility to inform you of issues AND WORK WITH YOU TO RIGHT THEM!!! within 30 DAYS!

It is a stamp! you don't have to apply to put a stamp on an envelope. This isn't a license, like a business license that they have to confirm that you are zoned properly. You're paying for a product (the stamp) not permission to exercise your right.

I can't come up with another process in the rest of gov't red tape that is identical to NFA.

I know what you're saying- it could be worse. But it could be way way better and simpler.

Yea but in your perfect world we also wouldn't need CCW licenses and there would be no 1986 ban on full auto. It could be easier and faster it could be much harder and much longer. In fact if it wasn't for the outcry about 41P it would be much harder.
