ever been in a gun store and have a salesman refuse to sell a gun to an individual?

I was at Forest Park Army Navy Store once trying to trade in a few things and notice a group of guys trying to by and AR. Was about 4 of them one young kid two middle age and one really old gentleman. I over heard Mr. Steve talking to his boss stating something didn't feel right cause all four were shopping together and felt it was a straw purchase so they kindly explained they didn't feel comfortable with the sale and the group of guys understood and politely left.

They guys were pretty nice about it and gladly understood once the boss explained he didn't know who they were or if they were undercover and he didn't want to lose his FFL licences.

Ga gun store just had someone in not long ago trying to get away with a straw purchase. Mike saw through this couples BS and called them on it. They had the post and video on Facebook the other day.

I actually was there when this one happened a few ekes ago. It was rather funny to hear when it happened. Mike was very polite and professional about it and did the right thing.

Although he knows how to get my money. Which is why I have none.

Refused plenty of people back in the day for similar comments.

me too when I work for a shop that sold guns also refused to sell a 44 mag to a small 70 year old woman just cause she needed something she could actually use , she could barely hold the gun so no way she could shoot it but it was the same gun her husband had before he died and then someone stole it ,she demanded to replace it with another 44 mag lol

I was in the Bargain Barn about a year ago, and some guy was in there trying to buy a shot gun. He openly professed the fact that he was not a citizen of the U.S., the guys behind the counter looked at each other then at me, with this look of, "are you kidding me?". He was politely asked to leave the store. I think he was batf.

Well.. You don't technically have to be a citizen lol. I'm not a citizen for example but, permanent residence card allows me to buy firearms. Any who, I've seen it too. The first time I purchased one thru an ffl, they told some guy no because his buddy was going to purchase it for him, then he said something along the lines of they both have gwls and if they could skip the background check. The pawn shop clerk said it didn't matter, he'd still do the background check because they could have committed a dozen felonies since obtaining the licenses. The whole thing was sketchy.

seen it one time.. was at a Friends shop in south Ga for a day of Bullseye practice and a young man walked into the shop wanting to purchase a pistol. After some conversation he said he only needed to buy one bullet

my friend refused the sale and had a talk with him as he escorted him to his car...

Small town so I'm not sure if he knew the family or not

hope the young man is still with us

what a turd

glad they didnt sell it to him

i have heard some stories but never personally seen one. the only one i did see was an article about a guy refusing to sell an ak47 to this guy who was going to give it to his toddler, the dude of course kept calling it a "choppa" and acting like an idiot

I was refused by Clyde Armory. While filling out the form the guy asked if I was a student and if I was living in Athens.

I said yes I'm a student and yes I live temporarily in Athens, thinking it was just casual conversation.

Then he grabs the 4473 and crumples it up saying that my drivers license needed to match where I laid my head down that night. My dl and cwp both have my home in Gainesville since school apartments were temporary and instill received mail in Gainesville. I tried to explain that residency was a bit more intricate than where you happen to sleep that night, but he wasn't hearing it.
give him the finger and walk out

thats just stupid
