nah, you'll never get people to respect the trigger finger as long as there are people that rely on manually operated safeties.

I completely disagree. My edc is a 1911 with one of those manual operated safeties but my finger ain't livin on the trigger. It takes honoring the 4 rules to avoid a ND. As mentioned before. I have taught several people firearms safety and finger off the trigger is just good sense.
