The damn trigger finger and the basic fundamentals are what we need to respect.
Complacency has no business around firearms.
Thats a heck of a place to be looking for that!
knew a guy who cut 1/3 of his finger off in a fan blade when he thought it was off but someone turned it on, he just walked over to chair after noticing the finger gone and blood trail behind him and was about to pass out no yelling or swearing, the teacher slapped him to keep him conscious while 91 was called and 3 guys went to look for his finger in the furnace model (never seen a furnace dismantled that quick in my life).

Haven't seen it on the range (yet) but have seen it in the gunstores.... and a time or two while the finger was on the trigger.

I saw this and I believe he was shooting a small .380, if I remember right it was a micro desert eagle, and if you have had ever held one you will see that it would be very easy to shoot off your thumb!
I used to want one and then after holding one I decided I would eventually blow my thumb off with it, the barrel/gun is just too short.
