Exposing your weapon to the undesirable?

Exposing your weapon to thwart off an undesirable situation is a no, no. What if you showed a bullet instead, would it be same thing?

I think that's sort of a gang thing to begin with, show them a bullet because they won't see the next one coming. If you're going to involve the gun, INVOLVE the gun. Don't beat around the bush, don't make innuendos or flash a magazine/bullet/speedloader. If it's gotten that bad that fast, then use the gun.

On the other hand, there are other ways to handle the situation, first and foremost is to not get into it to begin with. If you wouldn't go there without a gun, don't go there with one. Be aware of your surroundings and who and what is in them. Pepper or OC spray is a good alternative as well.
