Ford has the same prob with the aluminum and plastic radiators. Theydon't give two shytes what you think. They had an actuary look at the issue and figure it's not a financial risk. Get it fixed yourself and move on.

I've got a copy of the GM Tech bulletin.Well when you google " GM faulty radiator" nothing jumps out at me. If there were truly a problem that was costing folks that kind of bread I'd think the internet would be on fire. (like a Ford https://www.google.com/search?q=ford+fire&ie=utf-8&oe=utf-8#q=fords+catching+fire)

You guys are missing the point of the rant. Problem is legit... GM has issued a service bulletin regarding it, but not doing anything to fix the problem
Yes, I have copy of bulletin. Yes, I could smell it, but wasn't sure what it was.Have you read this specific service bulletin? Did you note any coolant leak before taking it in for service? Or was it pointed out to you after they got their hands on it out of your sight?
