Not the way I expected this to turn out and I'm glad for you that's the case. Some con artists have total conscience amnesty, this guy obviously felt a little shamed since he was found out soon after the trade. Glad you got your revolver back though.

It may not have been his fault that he had a fake. Someone might have screwed him and he didn't know it. He may have been ashamed of the fact that he was taken advantage of. Not every gun enthusiast is as knowledgable as others. I personally am far from being an expert. At least he was honest enough to trade back.
