Fast Food anyone?

you must not have gotten the memo: employers hire employees so people can have jobs, not to make the employer money :)

thats the biggest issue. folks in the worf force act like they are ****ing owed something. your job as an employee is to make the employer money. its super simple

Yep. And if you don't like it then start your own business.

That makes too much sense. The empowered, workforce of day want what they are owed. Plus the Gov't can't have the proprietors making money, it must be redistributed. I foresee the Gov't forcing the owners to pay a specific wage, sell at a specified price and pay big taxes while not letting them get of their business. And that aint capitalism, but I bet some of you know what it is.

Can we start a group begging for a $15 value meal? Let's face it, the company will just raise their prices to keep their investors happy.

The engineer in me wants to take the self-checkout grocery store concept and build that into a drive thru and counter interface... just push the buttons for what you want and swipe your card. You'll still need a cook or two in the back, but I bet I could cut the staff required by more than half.

They already have that. I've used one at a taco bell. Can't remember where exactly, was at a rest stop somewhere between Atlanta and upstate NY.

Capitalism is taking all your factories to communist China in order to have more profit. Capitalism is also the process of importing cheap foreign labor to capitalistic countries in order to ignore local workers who expect higher wages.

firstly china isnt that communist, more totalitarian

as for importing, well it wouldnt be an issue if politics didnt dictate the dollar. look at england for example, their labour party imported a bunch of immigrants who now leach the system instead in that country. the labour party isnt capitalist FYI so why are the ones who seek to erode borders and support favoritism to a lower class usually left wing/socialist?

Nope that would be NAFTA. There was a reason that no president would sign off on it until Clinton. From Nixon to Daddy Bush, they all avoided it. It didn't happen much until it was beneficial for them to do it. However it is true that under capitalism, the owner will try and increase their profits. It's their money and their risk, therefore they should be allowed to reap the benefits.

The people demanding the raises are the ones who visit these places to eat. They wont be able to afford their nasty fast food diets anymore.
