Father shoots 17 year old daughters BF in her bed. She told dad she didn't know him.

The father, who was not identified, was notified by one of his children that there was someone in his 16-year-old daughter's room, the report said. He reportedly found his daughter in bed with the teen.
The confrontation occurred around 2:20 a.m. The father had a gun and asked the teen to identify himself, police said, according to the report. His daughter reportedly told her father that she did not know the teen and that the two were not in bed.
The father said he told the teen not to move, but reportedly saw the teen reach for something, at which point police say the father opened fire.

The story said he moved. I'm not guessing anything. It never said in what direction, he grabbed for a bazooka, hi-point, nothing of the sort. He could have twitched for all you know and you're all ready to send him to Hell for it when you know the dad knew his hoochie daughter was lying. I say BS to all this. The truth will out.

Seriously? The reporter wasn't there. That's the way recounts are written by news agency for liability reasons. You'd rather them report something like this as definitive facts? I can't believe this is really a discussion.

Maybe, but I'm not into cheap paperbacks or Lifetime Network so I'm taking the OP as facts. What may or may not come out later might or might not lead to different conclusions. We can "what if" this all around the block if we want.
What if the other sister was jealous and used to be the boy's squeeze and she was mad at her sister and him for making the two headed beast and went to tell her daddy, who she knew would be armed, that "A stranger is in sissy's room and I don't know who he is!"

I'll just go with the story as reported for now. And as stated, it's a good shoot and I'd do exactly the same thing. Some here who proclaim all this second guessing and evaluations in such situations might find themselves thinking themselves or their loved ones right into a grave.

Fact: The boy was known to the hooch.
Fact: The hooch didn't know daddy was a full blown retard Rambo wanna be.
Fact: The boy was not armed.
Fact: The virgin daughter didn't make a sound when a "stranger" was known to be in her room at 2:20 a.m.
Fact: The dad "reportedly saw the teen reach for something". We don't know what he reached for because he's dead. But if it was a weapon, the story would surely have included that "fact".

You can have all the "I'll defend my family to the death" fantasies you like, but you know what happened here.

The apparent INABILITY of some to be realistically empathetic, and presumably just for the sake of arguing, is truly bizarre. (Either that or they've spent a lot of time sneaking into skank's bedrooms).
