This entire discussion has clearly been based on the report and any discussion of the accuracy of the report is a completely different discussion. BTW, yes you can shoot someone for moving in certain circumstances. Let's say there is a man that enters your home in the middle of the night without permission. You confront him as he is creeping down the hallway and tell him "Don't move". He keeps moving anyway. Shoot or no shoot? The resounding answer to that is, Shoot. You will hear that from pretty much every firearms instructor in the world, including LE instructors.

There's no grey IF the account is accurate. The daughter said she didn't know him so a 'stranger' is in your daughter's bedroom at night and you tell him not to move and he reaches for something? Dead stranger everytime. Like I said, IF that is an accurate account.
