My parents live in Madison. If any of you ever happen to be down that way, try Crowe's Open Air BBQ. Really, really good.

"This is it" BBQ, several Atlanta locations. Guaranteed you will be the ONLY Caucasian face in there if you're of that persuasion, but holy hell is it good. I like the one on Memorial drive, get a helping of the riblets.

I live close to Sprayberrys, but their prices are just too doggone high. Billy Bob's BBQ in Carrollton is my favorite, great food at good prices. You can go thru the drive-thru and order a regular or large family-pack, and have every thing you need. Closest thing to Melear's in Union City I've found. They even have a hot sauce you can ask for that's like the old Melears.
Best deal on stew is to go to Walker's Meats in Carrollton. Buy it by the gallon for less than $20. Pour it up in quarts and freeze it. Good stuff.
