Mine is Romans 5:8-
But God commended his love toward us,in that, while we were yet sinners,Christ died for us.
This is my favorite because it makes me consider where would I be,if not for God.Our God is so loving and merciful, that he gave his only begotten son for whosoever will.As a young teen,my dad drug me to church,I did not go looking for God.BUT GOD was looking for me!! He came to where I was and opened my blinded eyes to my lost condition, and saved my wretched soul.
Now that is just 1 of my "but God" moments, there have been so many more through the years. What a loving and merciful God we serve!!
Please feel free to share your favorite verse, and what it means to you
or your But God moment(s) in your life

No favorite, many verses have had great meaning at different points in my life. My faith in Jesus as my lord and savior gives me peace in the storm, and brings joy and love to my soul. Matthew 22 34-40.

Isaiah 55:12 The mountains and hills shall burst into singing, and the trees of the fields will clap their hands.

One of my many favorites.

Ezekiel 25:17

The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men. Blessed is he, who in the name of charity and good will, shepherds the weak through the valley of darkness, for he is truly his brother's keeper and the finder of lost children. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger those who would attempt to poison and destroy my brothers. And you will know my name is the Lord when I lay my vengeance upon thee.

Guess I got my religion from Pulp Fiction.
