The ruling is VERY favorable and respectful of the 2A. Defers to Heller and and NYSRPA v. Bruen SCOTUS rulings, stating that criminal behavior on the part of a few does not provide context to invalidate the rights of law abiding citizens.
The case is still pending, but the court has made it crystal clear that the merits of the appeal against the law are very strong, in the court's view. And what this means, ultimately, is that an AWB case will probably end up in front of the SCOTUS.
It might take a couple of years, but maybe, just maybe, politicians will finally have to STFU about "assault weapon" bans and magazine restrictions. Sure hope Clarence Thomas is in good health.
