Flamethrowers – Formerly used by the military – are now being sold to the public

Your wording makes it sound like they are selling surplus/ former USGI flamethrowers. These are private companies making a new product expressly for civilian ownership. I read the article, they kind of made it sound the same, talking about flamethrowers, given up by the military are now available to the public. The verbiage makes it sound like they are the same flamethrowers, not completely different items which simply have the same purpose.

Sorry, I attempted a "not simple cut and paste" as per guidelines. Yeah but even the article insinuated it, slightly. But hey it's a frigging 50' flame thrower!

Nothing disperses a violent crowd like fire... People don't like being burned.
