My hands were shaking as I got ready to shoot the first stage of Saturday’s match at RBGC.
I ran through my stage plan in my head: run to this spot on the ground, look at this spot on the target, pull the trigger straight back, etc. On some targets, it was pulling the trigger twice fast. On others, it was confirming a blurry fiber on my spot before pulling the trigger a second time (you can see this in the last position: first target was a predictive pair, last was reactive). Told myself: do these things and the results will be fine!
The buzzer went off, and I stuck to my plan, doing all those things.
Ended up being a stage win.
