I was talking with a concrete guy. Apparently the feds have mandated that 20% of all new parking spaces are bring reserved for EV's and have charging hook ups starting in 2028

The more you consent to private businesses spying on you and putting you under constant surveillance with audio and video monitoring,

the easier it will be for the government to do it in the future without violating the Fourth Amendment.

They will argue that, at that time in our tech-filled society, you do not have a reasonable expectation of privacy in your car (and possibly even your house if you have enough electronic devices and cameras monitoring you and sending their feeds up to various social media sites, internet providers, and computer companies) even though your parents may have had a reasonable expectation of privacy in the same places back in their day.
