Ford triton v8 skipping a cylinder. Info needed.

I have a 97 expo with a 5.4.. mine was throwing a code for a lean condition causing skipping.. it was a vacuum elbow on the rear of the intake that had deteriated and had a hole in it.. it took forever to find it.. it happens on all 5.4s at around 100k miles.. by what ive read on the ford forums..
 
Great idea!! But you need to run it thru the injection system, or your doing nothing

Running it through the injection system will do nothing, Suck it in the brake booster vac port in copouios amounts. The compression of the extra liquid is what creates the high freq explosions that clean the carbon off everything, Any liquid will work, Water will do the same thing.

One smoke test at 75bucks would have found that.
