I actually considered the mod idea and have spoken to a couple mods about it but haven’t made a final decision yet.

You can not link ads and then trash talk them, that’s always been a rule and I can’t make an exception for this thread.

Could we just link ads in general? Not for the purposes of bashing. A lot of times it was to alert members to good deals and stuff they'd be interested in.

I'm glad to see the thread opened back up. There is an absolute wealth of information here and it would be a shame to see it closed permanently IMO.

There's a lot of eyes on this thread and I think a good number of ppl are taking a wait and see approach. I'm glad to see some open discussion here and openness and willingness to adjust and make some changes.

I hope the thread survives I have found it to be informative,funny,sometime irrelevant and sometime ridiculous. I do understand the non-bashing of thread issue it has also been my feeling that if someone decides to sell their items they can ask what they want and it's up to the marketplace to decide if it sells or not. If it's not for you then just move on. Other than that I have not seen anything else that concerns me enough that someone should get banned or points. I do think that if a Mod issues you points,bans you or removes a post there should be a reason stated or a message on the thread like " This post was removed for the following reason......:" It is strange to see things disappear with no explanation.

They have several catch-all bull**** "reasons" for banning members.

Or that if someone links a classified, and someone else in here says "that's too much, you can buy that gun new over here at xxxxxxx.com" then they are "bashing" it.

I understand not trashing someones classifieds. But you can't on the one hand say that it's up to buyers to do their own research on an item, then not allow them to ask the group here if it's a deal or not.

How is a buyer supposed to be informed if anything remotely negative is deleted here? Do you want them to go to another web forum to ask questions about it?

Your moderation staff should go through some type of training. They don’t even know they’re own rules. Maybe you need to give me weekly exams? Then when you tell them that they’re wrong they ban you without a reason. I think some mods here also have a different set of rules. It’s funny how we communicate with a mod in this thread and he doesn’t say anything then the other comes in and bomb everything and locks us out, bans people etc. Also all recommend posting in private help but when you do it gets deleted? What’s up with that? It’s literally no chance at winning here, so PB is out and done with this thread. Maybe done with the forum as well because this thread is only reason I’m here. Okuma
