Fox squirrels on Piedmont NWF

Hey guys, does anyone have any tips on a good area to find fox squirrels down there? I have a 10 year that I want to get a few. I hunted there over 20 years ago and would always see them along the roads driving and occasionally in the woods but just don't remember my way around enough to know where to start looking again. Any tips would be greatly appreciated. Maybe you guys will be more willing to share that the GON readers.

Fox squirrels hang out around pine thickets where gray squirrels will be around the hard woods. I hope that this will help.

Thanks bud. Yea I knew about the pines already and was wondering if anyone that had been there knew where colonies of them traditional were. That place is huge 34,000 acres and pinpointing them can be challenging.
