I have a GSG 1911-22 that just wouldn't work right. It would frequently fail to load and eject. I sanded the rails to near glass-like slickness, bought after market performance parts, and even sent it back to ATI for warranty work. When it came back, it worked "ok", but not with the mentioned aftermarket installs (ss guide rod, barrel bushing, spring).
Heard about froglube and bought the kit on eBay. Separately, I bought the froglube solvent at my lgs. I gave it a detailed cleaning using both products and applied it using my wife's hair dryer. Went out last Sunday and I didn't have a single issue with my performance upgrades and shooting 200 rds of federal bulk. This stuff works, folks. As I've said in other posts, I actually find the application process therapeutic.
