Does the Froglube solvent also lubricate like the gel and paste or just strictly for cleaning?

I use it and love it, but still do a very light coating of premo oil on barrel or bolt.

It lubes as well. The stuff is absorbed into the metal and liquifies when heated. I tried it on a barrel and then used a hair dryer to heat up just to make sure! Great stuff.

I have the gel and paste, I actually like the gel best. Anyone use the solvent on shotgun barrel? Wondering how much better it works over something like NitroSolvent or Hoppes.

Alpha, FYI they have a new product that's a clear solvent (I suspect you're thinking of the green CLP)

Whats the green stuff in the spray bottle? Is that regular CLP as well?
