Shoot it, I've shot worse on full auto "M240B and M2HB" and flawless cycling. Just enjoy it. Powder and projectile should be fine.

Yeah I missed the 400 rd part. If it's light rust I'd sand it. I'd hate to have a case blow out if the integrity of the case is weakened by rust.

yeah but sanding wont help that, so just shoot it as is.

Spray the wd40 on a ragg and clean the molasses off and enjoy!!!

Done this to about 500 rds or more when I got for free from someone that left them in the dirty cloths bin and got rusted WTF!! hahhahaa

Hell I have ammo chambered in my rifle right now that looks worse than that ,and when I get ready to shoot it I will .I forgot to unchamber round after a couple hundred sup rounds.

When i was over seas, and I'm sure any one else who has deployed, we shot worse ammo out of ak47s that were held together with duct tape and prayers!
