Fuel prices jacked up again...

I have no idea how much gas is...nor care.

I drive electric and I love it. The future is here...get on the train

You get no opinion as you pay no GA road taxes through fuel purchase like the rest of us.

To OP, I've seen as high as $2.49 in north Atlanta and as low as $1.68 in S.C. recently.

You are uninformed. House bill 170 in
2015 requires 205 bucks a year. Thats not true as of 7/2015. Electric car owners pay.
Non-Commercial Motor Vehicle Fee: $204.20
Commercial Motor Vehicle Fee: $306.31

These fees apply to the following vehicles:
a) Vehicles that operate solely on electricity, regardless of whether the owner uses an
alternative fuel vehicle license plate.

Maybe your right...maybe.
09 accord 4cyl...470 miles per week/31 MPG = 15.16 gal/week. *52 weeks = 788.39 gal of fuel purchased. *$.26 /gal state tax = 204..98.
That's real close...but when you factor in total fuel taxes including excise and federal...
788.39 gal * $.4402 = 331.28

That's in a relatively fuel efficient vehicle

And if I follow the GA DMV site correctly, plug in only vehicles are exempt from ad-valorem taxes as well...but since that was changed I guess it's a moot point.
