Given the limited availability of all full auto firearms. What would be your preference and why?

M16 lower, or mp5. People love the mp5, the M16 is easy to get new uppers for.
Macs have alot of room to grow through while there are alot of them, they are getting harder to find and they are fun to play with with all the Lage and US Machinegun parts you can throw on em.

Hk or flemming auto sear. You can install it in many Hk platforms and the prices on those keep going up and up. Plus its small so if you just wanna keep it in a safety deposit box...well you can!
I say an hk trigger pack. Can go in any of the guns from an mp5 to an hk21. Anything from 9mm to 308.
Stupid question time...
If you have anything with a full auto sear and god forbid it is damaged in some way shape or form, are you screwed?
Would there be a way of having a shop fab a new one for you since you have supporting papers?
Not looking to buy but that would suck to invest that much and a little piece of metal kills your investment.

As per SRI he said call a master welder and spare no expense if your trigger pack is damaged.
My top choice would have to be Mp5 or M16. So much flexibility. But I've been sorely tempted to bag an FN FNC a time or two...
Machine Guns have been and will continue to be one the safest investments out there.

not stupid. its a known occurance with the mp5 sear. you can not fab a new one. you may weld the old one though. find a REALLY good tig welder before investing in an mp5. if it came down to it. m16a2 lower all the way. then an FAL or AK. then if you REALLY want something cool, go find an mg42!
