Gander Mountain readying for bankruptcy...

A lot of there stuff is twice the price as online or LGS. My biguest gripe is when the have an ammo sale you get the and they are always sold out. When you ask about it they say we sold out of the 2 cases we had. I would expect them to have pallets. I have left my buggy there twice when they didn't have the sale items an hour after they open. Good ridence.

that gander mountain out in snellville is a freaking joke store lol. there is never anyone there and maybe 3 employees working the few times i been there. hell last time i ventured there to try and find a tree seat i wanted (they had a average price on it, not good, but average lol) there was 2 people working, the cashier and one guy at the gun desk helping a guy look at stupidly overpriced ARs lol. could not find another soul to help me. and them opening it down the street from an academy was a stupid move on their part, no wonder they are going out of business.

The article does not say they will close any or all of their stores.
Can still operate businesses under bankruptcy.

However if they do have a going out of business sale, they will have someone come in and handle it, like they did at Kmart.
Hell, some prices will be higher.

All of these places will run out of sale priced ammo ten minutes after they open.
Academy had a line out the door before opening time.

These are Sucker Sales.

Gander Mountain was the only retailer of its kind that not only didn't demand corporate welfare, they refused it. Can't say the same about Bass Pro or Cabelas.
Between overhead cost and competitions pricing, and greed I should say...The overhead kills! Take Alexanders in Blairsville, way off the grid, I would guess the started small In a field. Started small and built an empire! Keep down the overhead and the business will grow on it's own, with a popular product.
