It all started with some mill cuts on my slide. I figured I would get it cerakoted after that. I went ahead and removed the factory finish...having access to some pretty good polishing wheels at work I decided to polish the slide. I did do a little research before and read that the factory slide is made with tenifer (tenifur?) and would not rust even after the finish was removed. Even if I'm wrong this is a workhorse not a safe queen. I carry it, shoot it , and clean/lube often. Here it is so far....
