Gas or electric stove

Been using the oven and I gotta tell ya, it cooks way better than the old electric. Everything is steady, even heat. Preheats FAST!

Biscuits have been amazing even for being out of a can. Never had them be perfect on top and bottom. I told the wife to make some brownies to try out. They came out perfect! We've been laughing about it all night I think bc we're in shock at the difference...

Gas. 100% of the time. I put one in my last house I renovated and we sold it. I have electric now and I hate it. I am now thinking of ways to pipe gas on a slab and make it happen again.

Gas is much more efficient with cooking and even. Plus, it works if the power goes out with small generator backup. No 60amp power needed.

I've only ever had electric. But I've been thinking a lot lately that I might rather have gas.

The house is set up for gas, we have a gas fireplace we use. But the previous owner installed an electric stove.

I'd like the thoughts and opinions of those of you who have gas stoves and especially from those of you who have used both.

Are the ovens gas as well? I would assume electric.

Thanks in advance!
I’m almost 70 and I only had electric gas here at my son’s house. I absolutely hate it.

My wife and I are on our fifth and final home. We’ve had gas for cooking in all but one and it was a Thermador Induction cooktop. We absolutely hated cooking on it. Induction is supposed to be the best of the best….. we’ll just make do with our gas cooktop.

30 AMPs runs everything in my home except A/C. So I bought a few window units on sale at Walmart. It saved my bacon last summer when the A/C went out. The old home, 30 AMPS was all I needed. We did have gas at the old home. I could cook at the fireplace or grill at the new place. We grew up on electric, but I know the old lady misses gas. And we could change it if we wanted. We ever need a new cook top, it might happen. I could see having both

Had to look that up, LOL. That's what we have now. I like it because it gives you more counter space. But you have to be careful not to have anything on the burner between the pan and burner while cooking. It'll cook it into the surface. Now that is a pain.
