I think your use to the ruger . The angle of that makes it for worse to me, The 44 has recoil but it's not that bad. With full power loads, I'm sure it is. I don't shoot the full power loads through mine.

Yeah rugers are quite tank-like. That GP I had handled .357s with ease..felt like I was shootin a lil .38 snub

They are just not for some people. I don't care for revolvers usually but I wanted a 44 and I'm not about to bother with the desert eagle. That thing is a tank. No thanks

Not a 44 but this is my baby. Its a 7 1/2 inch 41 mag. I love the ballistics of this round and I can't wait to smoke a deer with.
