Sorry to jump on an old thread, but I'm looking into getting a cz527 7.62x39 suppressor ready..... or a Ruger American ranch in 7.62x39. Any opinions on the matter? From what I've gathered research wise surprisingly the Ruger seems more accurate, hard to believe with the CZ having a set trigger, and being truly spec for the cartridge.

The Ruger in 7.62 is kind of clunky and akward IMO. I was all hot for one until I held it in my hand. The Howa Mini is another alternative. I am afraid to touch a CZ527 - my credit card would explode.

Think Remington bought Marlin so probably same
place does warranty work on either one.
Don't think I'd want them working on a genuine
New Haven Conn made Marlin not that those are likely
to ever need repair other than customer abused models.

Remington and Marlin will never be the same. Remington whiffing on the budget bolt rifle market and handgun flops will probably end up killing the brand eventually. I think the writing is on the wall for Marlin.

Don't worry, last week I overheard 2 guys in next booth at McDonald's
saying after first of the year Remington is being bought in a joint venture
by Sears and Chrysler.

The ruger is chambered in .311 too so that's why accuracy is good.

Actually, the CZ is CIP speced to fire 3.11 commie rounds. The Ruger doesn't specify, from what I can tell though it is actually .310 for use with American ammo.
