It was an awful hole in the front bottom of the grip designed to aid in stripping a magazine. Very bothersome for those with normal to bigger sizes hands.

Yes, not the newer ones or the MOS line IIRC
I have more than my fair share of pistols. Many cost much more but for some reason I shoot this one the best .
gen 5 Glock 19 factory gray frame .
I ditched the trigger and added a agency arms with a TT spring kit . The trigger is insane now with zero change in reliability .
Additionally I added the Vickers tactical slide stop , agency arms compensator , griffin armament barrel , agency arms mag well and the fantastic meprolight micro RDS with QD .
I won’t be carrying anything else for quite some time
