Might as well weigh in here. If you are thinking about generators, (especially Generac) they have about a 6 to 8 month lead time.

I have a 20 kW unit on order with expected install in late September. Probably will push past that date cause everything else has.

I better see how much wattage I’ll need at the new place and get in line.
Was hoping to get hooked up before height of hurricane season.
Guess we can limp along on the old gasoline powered one until then.

0. Made a biogas digester and it can run one as long as needed and I take a poop.

How do you plan to protect it from being destroyed by an EMP? I would at least think about that.

That is what my whole home setup is about and has come to the call several times for 18 to 48 hours at a time.
