You obviously have never hunted middle Ga.... Our property is surrounded by corn, soybeans.. peanuts... They never have to put the fat on like northern and midwestern deer do. Lol...

I cannot say that I have. Perhaps the weather does play a role in the weight of fat, but if you kill a buck in mid-November he doesn't have ANY fat, just muscle.
