Welcome to last year. http://www.theoutdoorstrader.com/threads/30972-Pictures-of-a-US-made-Glock-17!

However I don't think that means we are going to see the .380. I really don't think it would do well. Who really wants a .380 the size of a Glock 26 9mm, Glock 27 .40 or Glock 33 in .357 Sig? There are no pluses to owning the .380 Glock here in the US where we are allowed to have better "military" calibers. It would be a niche market and when Glock is currently selling out of their pistols as fast as they can produce them. I don't think they are going to tool up production on a sub, sub, market.

Thanks :) will close thread now

After seeing the way the US done Glock 17 looks and reading the us finish vs the austrian finish, i'm gonna have to search through my old ft/fs ads, I sold off a 19 c that had the same style finish, wonder if it was us?

Thanks man. I am interested in reading other peoples opinions about the Glock .380 even if the US made frame isn't really new news.

id like to see them sold here just because someone would like to have one. less government restrictions and more firearms is always a good thing

True, btw, looked at my old threads. Maybe that finish is just the newer style bc that 19 was an Austrian Model. But Kudos for glock, while the Smyrna plant is the Us import headquarters, the fact that they're producing firearms for export and helping the us economy is always a plus.

If Glock dove into the micro market like all the other companies it would be alright. I think the only plus to this is it shows that Glock inc in Smyrna has the manufacturing capabilities to now do what everyone has been asking for, for a long time.. A single stack 9/40, a micro 9/380 and a pistol cal carbine. As for the Glock 25 and Glock 28, I am sure people would by it if it went on sale just because. I don't think it would be a huge seller though or something Glock would make in large batches. It would be kind of like the Glock 17L.

As stated before, 380 acp ammo needs to drop for most to want to get a glock chambered in that. If you're looking at concealment yes, I'd like a glock singlestack 380, but then again, a 9mm isn't much bigger and the cost of ammo favors the 9mm.
