GLOCK 43 review? Agree or disagree?

Disagree: I carry a 43 with an 8 round mag and one in the pipe. I carry it in my pocket so my hand is on my gun quite often and always when I feel it might be needed. I also have a G19 that I carry but not that often, depends on the situation, etc. I, myself believe in shot placement, not "spray and pray" but realize every situation is unique unto itself and not predictable. I have fired over 200,000 hand gun rounds in many years of USPSA competition, attaining master status so I feel my personal skills work with a G43 and it's 9 rounds carried. Also there is at least one spare 8 round mag in my back pocket as well.

There are stats out there about the number of rounds fired during actual personal defense events, I need to find the latest. The last time I remember reading it really wasn't that many.

There's certainly confidence to be had by having as many rounds available as you're comfortable carrying, but how many are realistically going to be expended, who knows ?

I'm referring to personal defense here, not an armed agency or others who may have to go looking for situations gunfire may be exchanged. So many 'operators' about, and that guy is stereotypical of them.

The 43 is overpriced. If it were 300 bucks it wouldbt be a qhestion. That being said, I agree with this video. I hate proprietary magazines. And glock really hasnt impressed me with their weak grasp at keeping up with the Jones. That g5, smh

I Cary a 709 slim that has never had an issue it is not a range gun it has but one purpose. And that one is for when the weather is warm

You mean you don't go bang plates and time yourself and practice speed reloads with your 709?

Dude, Glock is the Jones' and everyone else has been trying to catch up for decades.

I have a 19 and a 43(and more). I carry the 43 95% of the time. It`s either IWB or in my pocket. I always carry a spare mag in the other pocket. I practice a LOT. I`m confident that I will win a fight. The 43 is comfortable anywhere I go, so that is my choice.
