There's a tiny little edge on the pin that contacts the slide stop when the pin is in position.
Lifting it and twisting it a little as you're pushing the pin out helps it get free.
There's nothing you can bust.....

H2O MAN - If your sights didn't come with a front sight tool PM me your address. I'm sure I have several and can stick one in an envelope for you....

And if you're impatient like me, you can just take a nut driver to a grinding wheel and bevel the edge enough to fit into the slide

H2O MAN - I think I had 5 of those front sight wrenches and I threw a few away, I mean why would anyone need more than one or two?

I can't find a damned one now.....
