Glock SUCKS!

Like I've said before it's all a matter of personal preference anyway, With quite a bit of friendly ribbing. I don't think there is a sexier handgun than a 1911. I've owned several different models. I myself have had a bit of bad luck with them but I still love em.
A Glock doesn't define my existence any more than what I drive. It's just what I have chosen to be my tool.
We are all passionate about hot lead slingers and that is whats important.

The only real complaint I have with Glock is the quality of the trigger. I'm spoiled by decades of shooting the 1911. Fortunately, there are now ways to improve the trigger to acceptable levels. That is why, after three separate tries to like a Glock, I have adopted a G22 as my EDC. Another deciding factor in giving up the 1911 for EDC is that I would prefer to have a Glock for SHTF, due to the question of how well and often maintenance could be done and mag capacity. There is a real difference between a SD situation and a firefight. In SD high capacity is seldom an issue. Not so in a firefight. The G22 that is my EDC goes with the extra mags and ammo in the Get Home Bag I keep in my vehicle. I also keep a 9mm barrel, so I can adapt more easily to available ammo. Between my two primary handguns and their conversion I have the ability to shoot 22lr, 9mm, 40S&W, 45ACP and 460 Rowland. With a suppressor for the 22lr, that pretty much covers any possible handgun needs for SHTF with just two weapons.

I know, I know, the G22 will also shoot 357 Sig, but what are the chances of scavenging it?

Well I've never been spoiled by 1911 triggers and I still complain about the Glock trigger. I'm on the verge of modifying it also. Sounds like you have it down to quite a science though. Good stuff!

This!!!!!

Nice. Fellow Giants fan?

Since 1975 when I was 8 years old. And they SUCKED back then.

The only sports team that has ever made me cry.

Haha sweet. I was 8 years old too when I started watching them, but that was in 1990. Unfortunately, I watched a bit of suckage shortly after I became a fan, as well.
